My name is Gina Bashour (that’s where GiBa comes from). I am a freelance graphic designer with a passion for helping companies create one-of-a-kind visual identities that highlight a business’s values, potential and beauty.
I have been designing for 15 years and specialize in graphic solutions for small businesses which includes branding, logo design, print/digital collateral, and web design.

As a graphic designer, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is being able to successfully translate a client’s idea into a beautiful, cohesive design. Collaboration rooted in communication creates a space where visual magic can happen!
My commitment to truly listening, understanding and clarifying a client’s needs affords me the opportunity to deliver suggestions and solutions that fit a client’s unique vision. I love having a client’s authenticity guide the core of a design.
My working style is welcoming, calm, and personable. I believe in honest feedback, vulnerability, and trust between collaborators. We are in this together. As a graphic designer, mother, and community member, I always practice and advocate for kindness, integrity, and inclusivity.
From Dancer to Designer
In a previous life, I was a dancer and choreographer praised by the New York Times as a “powerhouse”, with a professional career in NYC for 15 years. The dedication, determination, and perseverance it takes to be a professional dancer has not only informed my work, but laid the foundation for my drive and work-ethic today. In the early days of my career, I began designing for my own dance company which then grew into a side hustle for other performers.
Once I retired from dance, I worked as an office manager for a NYC architecture firm for 6 years while continuing my work as a freelance graphic designer. Life led me to build a family, which continued to support me growing a freelance business while raising two extraordinary humans.
As my core professional experience stems from dance, administration, and design, I am culturally aware, well-organized, and creative. I offer my clients a broad perspective with a fine attention to detail.
